How I Separate My Hustle Money Using Simple Jars

This might look simple, but it’s one of the most effective systems I use for managing my hustles. I keep small, clear jars labeled with the names of each side job — like Poshmark and Uber 

These jars help me keep everything organized and show me exactly which hustle is producing and which one needs more attention.

Every time I get cash from a hustle, I roll it up and drop it into the right jar.

Doing this gives me:

• a clean way to separate earnings
• a visual reminder of how each hustle is performing
• motivation when I see the jars filling up
• a breakdown of which hustle is worth more of my time
• a simple way to track consistency

I like things simple, and this system works because I don’t overthink it.

I don’t need an app or a spreadsheet for this part — just two jars and discipline.

If the Poshmark jar is getting full, that tells me my listings sales are moving.

If the Uber and Lyft  jar is filling faster, that tells me driving is paying off more this week.

This also helps me stay accountable.

If a jar stays empty for too long, that’s a sign I need to put more energy into that lane.
