I’m Really a Pedestrian

I’m Really a Pedestrian

I Turn Every Step Into Money

I’m not just calling myself a pedestrian for fun.

I really be outside. Walking. Watching. Hustling. 💼🚶♂️

I come from Compton, so my brain don’t shut off when I clock in. If I’m standing around doing security, best believe I’m making money in more than one way at the same time. That’s just how I move.

Security Job? Cool. But I’m Still Hustling 📱

Yeah, I’m a security guard.

  • I patrol.
  • I watch gates.
  • I check corners.
  • I do my job right.

But while I’m walking those rounds?

My phone is working too.

Here’s what that actually looks like in real life 👇

Real Examples From a Regular Shift

  • Google Rewards
I’m standing at a post for 10–15 minutes? Cool.
A survey pops up, I answer it in under a minute.
    $0.20 here. $0.50 there.
By the end of the week? That’s real money, not theory.
  • Receipts for Fetch
I see receipts on the ground, near trash cans, parking lots.
I scan them instead of walking past them.
    One receipt might be nothing…
Ten receipts a shift adds up fast.
  • Spare Change
    Pennies by the vending machine.
    Nickels by the curb.
    Quarters near parking meters.
People ignore it — I pick it up.
That’s literally money saying “take me.”
  • Cans & Recyclables
During patrol, I spot bottles and cans.
    I bag them quietly.
    No rush. No embarrassment.
At the end of the shift, that bag has weight — and value.

I don’t waste footsteps.

Every step gotta mean something.

People Think It’s Small Money… That’s the Joke 😂

People love saying:

“Bro, that’s only a few cents.”

Yeah… a few cents every day.

That turns into:

  • Gas money
  • Coffee money
  • Stock money
  • “I didn’t touch my main check” money

I’m not trying to look rich.

I’m trying to build rich habits.

The Transition Never Stops 🔄

Once my security shift ends, I don’t go home and crash.

I move on to:

  • DoorDash
  • Uber
  • Lyft

Different uniform, same mindset.

Here’s how I separate it in my head:

  • Security money → stays clean and stable
  • Hustle money → stacks fast
  • Recycle money → goes into investments
  • Spare change → becomes something bigger later

That’s not luck.

That’s a system.

This Is What Being a Pedestrian Really Means

Being a pedestrian ain’t about walking slow or being broke.

It’s about:

  • Being alert
  • Being resourceful
  • Seeing opportunity where others see trash
  • Turning dead time into paid time

I’m already outside anyway…

Might as well get paid for it.

So yeah — this is Diaries of a Pedestrian.

Not motivational quotes.

Not fake guru talk.

Just real street math.

Real movement.

Real hustle.

And if you walk like me…

You already know. 🚶♂️💰
